Foxygen is dead but it will always be my favorite band.

(This was the first poster I made in Adobe Illustrator.)

At first I wanted it to look like some of those wonderful old posters like Woodstock that used to be very colorful, but in the end I decided to just go black and white.

I wanted the color black to dominate to represent the total or partial absence of light: darkness.

Foxygen made a song called 'In The Darkness', which is the first song on my favorite album: 'We Are The 21st Century Ambassadors of Peace & Magic'.

The dominant black color also represents something undesirable: the separation of the band and the fact that I know I will never experience a live performance of them. 

Sad but cool, right?
